Two fallen Wombwell soldiers feature in this photograph of the Barnsley Road Board School Infants. Joe Utley sits fifth from left on the front row and George Smith is seated fifth from left on the third row. The photograph was taken as a souvenir for Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee in 1897.
